Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Kodo Meeting, including its websites, applications, meeting tools, transcription and AI features, and integrations.
Kodo Meeting is developed and operated by CodLuv.
Agreement and operator
Kodo Meeting ("Kodo") is developed and operated by CodLuv ("CodLuv," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Kodo, you agree to these Terms. If you use Kodo for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. A separate written agreement controls if it expressly conflicts with these Terms.
Accounts
- Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
- Protect your credentials and connected sign-in methods, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by a failure for which CodLuv is legally responsible.
- Do not share access in a way that bypasses account, seat, or usage limits.
Permission to record and process meetings
You are responsible for determining whether Kodo may lawfully record, transcribe, or process a meeting. Before using a recording feature, you must provide notices and obtain consents required by applicable recording, wiretap, privacy, employment, and confidentiality laws, as well as any agreement that applies to the conversation. You must not use Kodo to record or process content you are not authorized to handle.
Your content
As between you and CodLuv, you retain your rights in content you submit to Kodo. You grant CodLuv a limited, non-exclusive right to host, copy, transmit, transform, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support Kodo, comply with law, and follow your instructions.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide content to Kodo and to allow the processing described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
AI and transcription outputs
Transcripts, summaries, action items, speaker labels, and other automated outputs may contain errors, omissions, or unexpected results. They are provided as productivity aids, not as legal, medical, financial, employment, or other professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and the underlying source before making decisions or sharing them.
Acceptable use
You may not use Kodo to:
- Violate law, another person's rights, or an obligation of confidentiality.
- Record, monitor, impersonate, harass, exploit, or deceive a person without authorization.
- Upload malware or harmful code, probe or bypass security controls, or disrupt the service.
- Access another user's account or content without permission, scrape the service, or use automated means except through interfaces we authorize.
- Reverse engineer Kodo except where applicable law expressly permits it, or use Kodo to build or train a competing service without written permission.
- Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or designed to cause Kodo or a provider to violate its terms.
Third-party services
Kodo may connect to third-party services or rely on infrastructure and AI providers. Your use of a connected third-party service may also be governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for a third-party service's independent acts, availability, or content. You can stop future integration access by disconnecting the integration in Kodo or the provider, where those controls are available.
Plans, fees, and limits
Some Kodo features may be free, limited, in preview, or offered under a paid plan. Any price, billing interval, renewal term, usage limit, and cancellation option that applies will be presented when you select the plan or in a separate order. Taxes may apply. We may enforce reasonable technical limits to protect the service and other users.
Kodo and CodLuv materials
CodLuv and its licensors retain their rights in Kodo, its software, visual design, documentation, trademarks, and other materials, excluding your content. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Kodo for its intended purpose while your account is authorized and these Terms remain in effect.
Service changes and availability
We may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features and may perform maintenance. We aim to operate Kodo reliably, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Preview or beta features may change more frequently and may not be appropriate for critical use.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Kodo at any time. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security risk, prevent harm, comply with law, respond to nonpayment, or enforce these Terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kodo is provided "as is" and "as available." CodLuv disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing. These disclaimers do not limit warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CodLuv will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from Kodo. Any liability that cannot legally be limited remains unaffected, and mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
Changes and disputes
We may update these Terms as Kodo or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you have a concern, contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
